I created this piece to highlight recent issues and policies affecting immigrant and migrant peoples attempting to enter the United States. It is my hope that the image and quotes will inspire people to reach out with a helping hand and open heart to help those who are trying to enter our wonderful country. Reflecting as well that this country was founded mostly by people fleeing from political oppression, religious persecution or even environmental catastrophe such as famine and drought.
