Part of my “Reuse” series, this work is a brew of skewed pinwheels pieced from recycled coffee bags. (Hmmm…caffeine…wakefulness…disturbing tweets at 4 a.m….Is sleep deprivation compounding the mental instability of our President?) My art quilt is embellished with pressure valves from the insides of coffee bags, which are fastened in place with wire. (Uh, with President 45 under intense pressure and so tightly wired, should we worry about him exploding…and blowing up the planet as well? Oy Gevalia…er, gevalt.)
