Women have persisted over the years in the struggle to obtain the right to vote, right to work (equal pay), right to be educated, right to play sports, right to have affordable healthcare, right to family planning (access to effective/safe birth control), and right to personal safety (not to be raped, not to be victim of domestic violence).
This postcard is a response to Sen. McConnell’s silencing Sen. Elizabeth Warren who wished to read a letter written by Martin Luther King Jr.’s widow, arguing that Sen. Jeff Sessions did not deserve to be approved for Attorney General.
