Every day for the first 100 days of the Trump administration, I stitched the words THIS IS NOT NORMAL–sometimes alone, sometimes as part of a small themed piece–as a way of resisting the normalization of this President, his policies, and his administration as a whole. I assembled the 100 pieces into two Cloths of Resistance, each comprising 50 days. This daily resistance stitching continues in another ongoing project, the Flags of Resistance.
